I call it café cozy, layers of warm neutrals with at least one knit layer and plenty of textures to keep you toasty. Start with a warm knit in a shade that can best be described as café au lait brown. If your neutral knit hits your hips, just cinch your waist with a tonal or neutral belt to keep the knit from looking too frumpy. You want the neutral layers to be similar in shade and texture but not identical.

I added a 'baker-boy' style cap in a tonal neutral + a long brown tulle skirt, layered over tights and boots. I love throwing on the wooly scarf pictured below for that extra pop of red, you could also add a bright red lippy or handbag to offset the cozy, neutral layers.

Here are links for a cap and sweater to build your neutral & knit layers, + a plaid scarf to throw over your shoulders and layer on that extra pop of brightness.
XOXO

The neutrals with the mix of styles & textures are beautiful!!
